Need a fun lesson for elementary students? Today I learned about a new website called Switcheroo Zoo. The site was used with 1st graders as a writing lesson. Students created a new animal, named it, described its living habitat, how it sleeps/eats/moves, and what makes the animal special. Oh my goodness, how cool! Our son (Kindergarten) loves to read, but is not quite as keen on writing. We're always looking for ways to get him engaged in writing at home. Thanks for sharing the link!
