Screen Sharing with ScreenLeap

If you have students in your classroom who have brought their own technology to use or if you are working in a 1:1 or even 5:1 environment, then ScreenLeap is a tool you should be using. This is a wonderful free tool that can make learning more interactive for everyone.

ScreenLeap allows you to share your screen instantly to any device with a browser, including laptops, netbooks, computers, smart phones, iPads, Android tablets, and more. There is no software to download or install and no registration required. There is also no limit to the number of devices with which you can share. Your device that is shared must be capable of using Java, but it is not required on the other devices. After clicking to share your screen, processing for about 20 seconds will occur and then you will be given a unique URL to give to those who need to connect with you.

    Hi Kristie,

    Have you ever tried Mikogo for screen sharing? We've had a lot of positive feedback from educators so you should check it out. There are no software requirements like Java, it works on any platform, and you can even access screen sharing in any old browser with our HTML viewer - this is a great feature as students who don't have mobile devices or laptops could join from any computer connected to the internet.
